In the "Why didn't we think of that?" department, one of the coolest new toys this year is the EyeClops Bionic Eye. It's kind of like a high-tech, interactive version of the old-fashioned microscope. You plug the EyeClops into your TV (no software required), point the lighted "eyeball" at any object (like bugs or hair or your sister) and it lets you see the object, magnified up to 200 times.
