Dell Inspiron 910: Killer Eee PC use Ubuntu

Missing a few days to the marketing of new netbook Dell, the Inspiron 910, and they are beginning to get the first indiscretions on its technical specifications. Driven by an Intel processor Atom, the mini-Inspiron boasts a 8.9-inch display (capable of a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels), is equipped with 1 GB of RAM and boasts solid-state disks of varying sizes (from 4 to 16 GB). Completing the entire VGA output, a memory card reader, network adapter wi-fi and three USB ports.

The most interesting aspects of this netbook must be sought elsewhere, however, more precisely in the price and the operating system: the Inspiron 910, in fact, should be sold starting at $ 299 (one hopes that is not used at the exchange between 1:1 U.S. dollars and euros) and will be available only with Windows XP, even with Ubuntu 8.04.

We hope that at least this time Italy will not be treated as in the past…
